I've been so busy this past week that I've only been on DA for about half an hour every day, if at all!

They were finally back, parading through the streets of the great city, returning from battle. She pushed her way through the cheering onlookers, searching for her father and brother's faces in the returning troops. At the very least she wanted to find her mother, so they could welcome their men home together.
The proud battle horses walked past, their hooves clacking against the cobblestones. Flowers rained down from balconies overlooking the street. Every now and then an agonized sob could be heard, coming from those who learn their loved ones would never return to them alive.

It had been months since her father had returned from battle with the news of her twin brother's death. She could still feel the throbbing ache in her chest that had not gone away since she found out. Her life felt so empty, she had hardly talked to anyone since it happened. She had thought that coming here, to this city far away from her own might help her move on. So far it was not working.
