Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I have some awesome news from around my little corner of DA!

First, a new Challenge at #Realms-Imagination in the Christmas spirit!! The Christmas of the Future Challenge!!

All around DeviantArt the holidays are in full blast! A few christmas contests are going on, and here at #Realms-Imagination we're launghing one too! But.... ours is a little different:eager:

Introducing the Christmas of the Future Challenge!!!

Your task: Create a scene of what you think Christmas will look like in 20-50 years. Or go all-out and try for 200 years!! Will it be bigger and brighter or quiet and peaceful? Something in between? its your choice!! Show us!!


Challenge Start: Monday, December 13th 2010
Challenge End: Friday, December 31 2010

This means you have 2 and a half weeks to get your entry in!!

Three Skill Levels with 3 Winners in each level!
Beginner - New to photomanipulation and still learning your photo-editing program(s).
Intermediate - Experienced manipulator - still learning but getting better.
Advanced - Experienced manipulator that goes above and beyond the requirements.


Requirements:

-You must use some sort futuristic stock in your scene - it must look futuristic or high-tech in some way.

-You must use at least one of Lego stock images from *da-joint-stock, located here: [link]

-Please state in the Artist's Comments that your deviations is an entry to the 'Christmas of the Future' Challenge at :iconrealms-imagination:

-Please also state which Skill Level you are entering under (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced). If you write more than one Skill Level we will choose the highest one. If you enter under a lower level when you should clearly be in a high one, we will move it automatically.

-Limit of 2 entries per person (not per account, per person - if you want to make more be my guest, but please choose your best works for the 2)


Prizes:

-40 Points for each of the 1st place winners in each skill level
-Journal Feature for all 9 winners by *da-joint-stock
